Mayweather vs. McGregor Fight Delayed Due To PPV Issues

If you ordered the super fight between UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather, then you are going to have to be patient before the main event begins.

Due to issues on both UFC TV and various pay-per-view outlets, the main event is going to be delayed so those issues can be addressed.

Showtime Executive Stephen Espinoza issued the following statement to ESPN:

"Due to the overwhelming demand, capacity of cable systems around country are being overwhelmed. They are shutting down and rebooting some of these cable systems.?

The UFC issued a statement of their own through Twitter about the issues:

It is unknown just how many cable outlets were affected by outages, but Xfinity and Atlantic Broadband were two of the most affected.

There is currently no announced time frame for when the super fight is going to begin.
