Michael Bisping Believes That Dan Henderson Is Still Dangerous

MMA

When Michael Bisping steps into the octagon this weekend at UFC 204 he's looking to avenge a knockout loss to Dan Henderson that happened all the way back at UFC 100. Bisping knows Henderson is still as dangerous as that night in 2009.

Despite Dan Henderson’s advanced age and damage he has suffered through two decades of MMA, he's still a dangerous fighter, according to Bisping.

Unranked UFC Fighters to Watch out for in 2024

"Dan's just tough…He's as tough as they come and he'll come forward and he'll swing. He's got nothing to lose in this fight; that makes him very dangerous. Kinda like my fight with Rockhold. I had nothing to lose in that, nothing. So I just went out there and swung,” said Bisping during a UFC 204 media scrum.

Henderson is currently the oldest fighter on the UFC roster at the age of 46. Bisping is only nine years behind him at a still seasoned 37 years old.

Henderson is also coming off of a knockout victory over former Bellator MMA Middleweight Champion Hector Lombard, which is the first time that Lombard has been knocked out in his professional MMA career.

UFC 204 will be take place on Saturday, October 8th from the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England with Bipsing and Henderson in the main event.
