Michael Bisping Claims To Have Spies Watching Georges St. Pierre

UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping is preparing to make his second defense of the title when he faces former UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre at UFC 217.

Bisping is claiming that he has spies watching GSP train for the main event bout, even following the Canadian fighter to his training sessions in Los Angeles.

“(St-Pierre) is actually in LA a lot these days,” Bisping said on Believe You Me. “He’s been at the Wild Card Boxing gym, training with Freddie Roach. I have a couple of spies in there, by the way, and they told me some info. Georges, if you’re listening buddy, that’s a public domain. I know people in there. I know what you’re working on, pal. I know what you’re working on, and it ain’t going to work on me, Georgie boy.”

GSP is returning to action after a four-plus year absence, with his last bout coming against Johny Hendricks at UFC 167.

Those spies must be giving the champion some good information because the champion is confident enough the predict a first round knockout.

“I’m going to stand right in front of him, I’m going to plant my feet, I’m going to walk him down, put him on the back foot, and I’m going to knock him out in the first round. You have my word,” says Bisping.

UFC 217 takes place on Saturday, November 4 from Madison Square Garden in New York, New York with Michael Bisping and Georges St. Pierre headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
