In just a few short weeks, Michael Bipsing will be defending his championship against Dan Henderson at UFC 204 as Bisping will be attempts to gain revenge from a loss to Henderson at UFC 100.

However, according to famed boxing trainer Freddie Roach, Bisping turned down a fight with former UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre.

"Yeah, I do like that fight, but Bisping said no…I know that that fight's not going to happen” said Roach several months ago in an interview with Fight Hub TV.

Bisping has not responded to the claims from Roach until, he talked about the whole situation with the Daily Star Sport.

“I have a lot of respect for Freddie Roach, but Freddie Roach is talking out of his a**e…Freddie, I love you, it's not that we have a close relationship but I respect him for what he's achieved in the sport of boxing, but Freddie Roach is out of his mind because that fight was never ever, ever offered to me. Never offered to me. Dana White didn't come to me with it, nobody came to me with it. They came to me, I say they I mean his striking coach, who said ’Hey, we're trying to do this fight' to try and g it up a bit. So I spoke about it in the press to try and generate a little interest and it never took off from there” said UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping.

GSP has yet to officially sign a new UFC deal. Bisping will defend the UFC MIddleweight Championship at UFC 204 on October 8.
