Michael Chandler And Chad Mendes Sign With RAF, Will Main Event RAF 3

Michael Chandler and Chad Mendes are heading to Real American Freestyle.

TMZ reports the two former UFC fighters will headline RAF 3 on November 29.

“Bringing Mendes and Chandler to the RAF mat is a full-circle moment for wrestling. These are world-class fighters who never lost their connection to the sport that made them,” RAF CEO Chad Bronstein said. “This matchup proves what RAF is all about – giving elite athletes a platform to come home and remind the world where greatness begins.”

Both fighters wrestled in college before transitioning to the world of Mixed Martial Arts.

Mendes was a two-time All-American wrestler at Cal Poly, while Chandler was an All-American at Missouri, and a two-time Big 12 Championship runner-up.

Real American Freestyle was founded by the late Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, and Bronstein earlier this year.
