Middleweight Title Fight Headlines LFA 50

The vacant Legacy Fighting Alliance Middleweight Title is going to have a new owner at LFA 50 when Brendan Allen faces Tim Hiley.

Allen (9-3-0) has rotated wins and losses throughout his run in the LFA, with his last bout being a first round TKO victory over Larry Crowe at LFA 43. Allen has twice before challenged for the LFA Middleweight Title, losing to then champions Eryk Anders and Anthony Hernandez. Allen has suffered three defeats as a professional MMA fighter and all of those losses came to fighters who are currently signed to the UFC.

Hiley (5-0-0) has already picked up a pair of victories under the LFA banner, with those wins coming over the duo of Willie Whitehead and Tyler Vogel. Hiley has competed five times as a professional MMA fighter and three of his wins have come by way of decision. Hiley also won three of four fights as an amateur MMA competitor, with two of those fights coming in the King Of The Cage promotion.

Legacy Fighting Alliance 50 takes place on Friday, September 21 from the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, Minnesota with Brendan Allen and Tim Hiley headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on AXS TV.
