A battle of winless professional MMA fighters are set to collide at UFC 225 as Mike Jackson faces former WWE Champion CM Punk.

Punk is competing for the second time in the UFC and Jackson predicts their fight is going to be the last for the former wrestler.

”They paid him a half-a-million the last time. They’ll probably pay him another half-a-million this time and that will be it,” Jackson told Flo Combat. “This will be his last fight. I can guarantee that. Cause after I touch him, he ain’t going to want this no more.”

Jackson had one other opportunity to fight Punk before, but came up short in ta qualifying fight against Mickey Gall at UFC Fight Night 82.

Even though both competitors have yet to win a fight, a confident Jackson still believes he has a huge advantage over Punk.

”I do feel it’s still a mismatch,” Jackson said. “At one point in time, I had no idea who Anderson Silva was. I thought he looked like a good fighter and had an interesting look, but after he smashed on Chris Leben, I was an instant fan. At the time, he was doing all this stuff in [other organizations] and I wasn’t really watching so I had no idea who Anderson Silva was. It didn’t mean he wasn’t good. Now I’m not comparing myself to Anderson Silva but people have just not seen me ‘cause I’ve not had that kind of exposure.”

UFC 225 takes place on Saturday, June 9 from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois with Robert Whittaker and Yoel Romero headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
