Mike Perry and Mickey Gall are set to meet in a welterweight division bout at UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs. Hooker, with their contest serving as the co-main event of the show.
It looks like that bout could be in jeopardy, as Perry has posted a video on Instagram, showing various wounds on his forehead and hand.
Perry says the fight is still on, but that could prove to be problematic because he would have to be cleared by the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) before actually stepping into the Octagon.
There is a possibility that the video posted by Perry could be showing fake wounds, but that has neither been confirmed and/or denied at this point.
UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs. Hooker is taking place on Saturday, June 27 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Dustin Poirier and Dan Hooker headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN.
