Mike Tyson Wants To Box Anthony Joshua For Charity

Mike Tyson is expected to box Roy Jones Jr. later this year, but the legendary boxer also wants to box Anthony Joshua.

The boxing great is willing to test himself against Tyson, as long as their bout is done for charity.

“I would love to do that (box Joshua). That would be mind-blowing,” Tyson said to TMZ Sports (via Adam Martin of BJPenn.com). “Listen, I’m very interested. If doing that means that we can have a bigger charity exponent, well be it, I’m down to do that too. If it’s all being done out of an exponent of charity and if they’re down to do that, I’m with it too. Listen, it’s entertainment. It’s just for charity. It’s for a good cause. But we’re giving our best.”

No matter how much Tyson may want to fight Joshua, it is highly unlikely that the bout comes together, exhibition or not, as very few, if any, athletic commissions would sanction a contest between a 30-year-old boxer who is ranked #2 in the world and a 54-year-old Tyson.
