MLB Legend Alex Rodriguez Joins PFL's Board Of Directors, Invests In Promotion

Former 14-time MLB All-Star, Alex Rodriguez, has joined the PFL's Board of Directors.

The promotion made the official announcement via a press release on Thursday, revealing Rodriguez was part of a group led by the private equity firm, Waverly Capital, that has contributed a $30 million funding round to the PFL. The funding is expected to help the promotion with global expansion and launch it's new pay-per-view super fight division. The terms on the investment were not disclosed.
