MVP Claims Dan Miragliotta Called Him A “Piece Of Sh*t” After Bellator Dublin Bout

MMA

Michael “Venom” Page and Richard Kiely were in the co-main event of Bellator Dublin, with MVP scoring a first round knockout win with a flying knee strike

Both MVP and Kiely made things quite personal in the lead up to their bout, which also spilled into the cage during the fight itself. Kiely would get fined $1,000 for giving MVP the bird, while MVP would get deducted a point by referee Dan Miragliotta for his conduct in the cage on that night

Apparently a point deduction wasn’t the only thing that Miragliotta did to MVP, as the referee also allegedly called MVP a “piece of sh*t.”

“I was disgusted,” Page told MMA Junkie. “Not only did he give me … minus a point and put me in position, he pushed me at the end and called me a piece of (expletive). Now, nobody should do that. That says to me that there’s something personal there. I don’t know what it is, but he should never be the referee for me, ever again.”

There has been no comment from Miragliotta or Mike Mazzulli (who was regulating the event for Bellator MMA) about the expletive allegedly told to MVP by the ref. Page is expected to be reprimanded for his actions in the cage at the event, with those potential punishments being announced by Mazzulli this Tuesday.
