The rivalry between UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor and retired boxer Paulie Malignaggi seemingly will never die.
Another 55 seconds of sparring footage has been released showing McGregor connecting with several blows against the retired fighter.
Fancy Combat posted the footage on their Youtube page:
This is the second time that sparring footage has been released, the first time was just before McGregor made his professional boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather this past August. In that fight, the undefeated Mayweather would defeat the UFC Lightweight Champion by tenth round TKO.
Malignaggi did release the following statement through Twitter about the newly released footage:
The highlights he's got left R looking weaker N weaker, shame is he still doesn't have even 20 seconds total footage out of 36 minutes. I will say it again @TheNotoriousMMA u have NO balls. I told u to bring them not realizing u didn't have any to bring with u 2 begin with lmao! https://t.co/KUUxN2MRrz— Paul Malignaggi (@PaulMalignaggi) November 24, 2017
McGregor and Malignaggi became rivals when Malignangi left the UFC fighter’s training camp after photo’s emerged showing the Irishman dropping the retired boxer during a sparring session.
Malignaggi has since gotten into several altercations with McGregor, but the two have yet to squash the beef and move on.
