The vacant CES MMA Welterweight Title is going to get a new owner at CES MMA 52 as Jason Norwood faces Jeremiah Wells.

Norwood (18-5-0) is looking for his first win under the CES MMA banner, having dropped a bout to former welterweight champion Chris Curtis at CES MMA 49. Norwood also competed once in Bellator MMA, picking up a second round submission win over Jon Kirk at Bellator 3 in April of 2009. Norwood has suffered a total of five losses as a professional MMA fighter, but he has yet to be finished by way of submission.
