The company announced that it has reached a deal with Facebook to have the social media platform broadcast five fights with the first being a title fight. Rojas has not fought since last September when he won the interim title by knocking out Claudio Marrero, who only loss at that point was to Jesus Cuellar in a fight for the interim title back in 2013. Rojas previously held a pair of regional WBA titles: the WBA-NABA and WBA Fedecaribe featherweight titles.

Diaz, on the other hand, is coming off his first pro loss back in May when he unsuccessfully challenged for Gary Russell Jr.’s WBC featherweight title. Russell defeated a game Diaz by unanimous decision (115-113, 117-111, 117-111) to retain his title for a third time.

The deal will also include original shows, including re-airings of past fights with alternate commentary from fighters and shoulder programming that will be streamed starting on July 13. Golden Boy Promotions CEO Oscar De La Hoya will serve as executive producer for the original programming.

The second fight will take place on August 18 in Pennsylvania and it will feature the return of former light heavyweight world title challenger Sullivan Barrera facing an opponent to be determined later. Barrera has not fought since getting knocked out by WBA champion Dmitry Bivol back in March.
