Nick Diaz Challenges DC, Colby Covington Blasts Stockton Native

MMA

Nick Diaz hasn’t been seen in action since suffering a decision loss to former UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva, later overturned to a no contest, at UFC 183 in January of 2015.

The longtime fighter isn’t very impressed by two division UFC champion Daniel Cormier and he challenged the dual title holder to a fight through Instagram:

While DC has yet to respond to Diaz’s challenge, a response was issued from teammate Colby Covington, who blasted the Stockton native through Twitter:

Covington has referred to Diaz “beating women” in his Twitter, post, which stems from the fact that Diaz was recently arrested for an alleged domestic violence incident with an on again/off again girlfriend.

Diaz has never competed at heavyweight before in his professional MMA career, having previously fought at welterweight and middleweight.
