Nick Diaz Released From Prison, Friend Comments On Arrest

UFC veteran Nick Diaz was arrested yesterday on multiple charges of domestic abuse, with one of those charges including abuse via strangulation.

Diaz has now been released from a Clark County (Nevada) prison after posting bail, which was totaled at $18,000.

The embattled fighter had posted a video on Instagram where he showed off injuries from the alleged domestic violence incident, but the Stockton native did not speak at all during the course of the clip. The video has since been deleted, it is unknown at this time as to why that happened.

MMA Junkie is also reporting that the alleged victim was transported to the hospital and that Diaz had been combative against the officers who arrested him. The condition of the victim is unknown at this time, it is also unknown of any police officers were injured when trying to apprehend the combative Diaz. 

Matt Staudt is a friend of Diaz and he took to Instagram to defend the UFC fighter from the charges levied against him.
