Nina Ansaroff is currently ranked #4 in the UFC Women?s Strawweight Division and has won four of her last five under the UFC banner.
However, it could be awhile before fans see Ansaroff back in the Octagon, as she is taking a break from competition to start a family.
"I'm not pregnant yet, but we are looking into the process," Ansaroff said to ESPN.
Ansaroff, who is engaged to two division UFC champion Amanda Nunes, should know whether or not she is pregnant before Nunes? title defense against Germaine De Randamie at UFC 245.
Nunes is happy to share in this dream of Ansaroff?s to have a child together and she is really looking forward to everything.
"I am looking forward to it," Nunes said. "That's another wonderful time in my life. I'll enjoy it. Nina's dream is to be a mother before being a UFC champion. Having a child is Nina's biggest dream and I'm happy to share it with her."
Other women on the UFC roster such as Sara McMann, Alexis Davis, Juliana Pena, Mackenzie Dern and others have given birth and have come back to fight later on.
