The new WBA rankings have been released and there are several changes being made.
A number of fighters, such as Badou Jack, Bryant Jennings, Luis Nery and many more saw their rankings go rise and fall due to fights taking place in the next few weeks. Fightful compiled a list of notable changes, which can be seen below of some of the biggest changes reflected in the WBA rankings.
Heavyweight:
- Oscar Rivas (No. 7), Andy Ruiz (No. 12) and Guillermo Jones (No. 15) enter the rankings
- Bryant Jennings drops from No. 7 to unranked
- Sergey Kuzmin rises from No. 10 to No. 8
Cruiserweight:
- Firat Arslan rises from No. 11 to No. 8
- Maksim Vlasov drops from No. 6 to unranked
- Jianzheng Wang (No. 14) enters the rankings
- For some reason, Tony Bellew is still in the rankings at No. 9 despite being retired.
Light Heavyweight:
- Badou Jack drops from No. 1 to No. 6
- Marcus Browne rises from No. 2 to No. 1
- Joshua Buatsi (No. 5) enters the rankings
- Joe Fournier drops from No. 15 to unranked
Super Middleweight:
- With George Groves retiring, he drops from No. 7 to unranked
- Vincent Feigenbutz (No. 7), Derrick Webster (No. 8) and Lennox Allen (No. 9) enter the rankings
- Tyron Zeuge drops from No. 8 to unranked
Middleweight:
- No changes
Junior Middleweight:
- Julian Williams (No. 4) and Aram Amirkhanyan (No. 6) enter the rankings
- Khuseyn Baysangurov drops from No. 5 to unranked
Welterweight:
- Amir Khan drops from No. 5 to unranked
- Kerman Lejarraga rises from No. 8 to No. 5
- Adrien Broner drops from No. 6 to No. 9
- Josh Kelly rises from No. 10 to No. 7

- Jorge Linares drops from No. 2 to No. 9
- Esneiker Correa (No. 12) enters the rankings)
Super Featherweight:
- Hugo Ruiz (No. 9) and Roger Gutierrez (No. 14) enter the rankings
- Jesus Cuellar (No. 7) and Muhammakhuja Yaqubov (No. 12) drop out of the rankings

- Jhack Tepora is no longer interim champion and is unranked
