Another bout and fighter have been added to UFC On Fox 26 as Danny Roberts faces Sheldon Westcott in a welterweight division affair, while Jan Blachowicz replaces Antonio Rogerio Nogueira against Jared Cannonier.
Roberts (14-2-0) has won three of four in the UFC, with his last victory coming over Bobby Nash at UFC Fight Night Glasgow. Roberts is also a longtime veteran of the Cage Warriors promotion, where he defeated fellow UFC fighter Jim Wallhead.
Westcott (9-3-1) has only won just one of three thus far in the UFC, over Edgar Garcia at UFC 195. Prior to signing with the UFC in 2014, Westcott earned victories over Elite XC veteran Thomas Denny and WSOF veteran Nic Herron-Webb.
Blachowicz (20-7-0) is replacing Nogueira in the fight because the Brazilian was pulled from the event due to a potential USADA violation. Blachowicz has won just one of his last three in the UFC and that lone win came over Devin Clark at UFC Fight Night Gdansk.
Cannonier (10-2-0) has won three of four fights in the UFC, over Cyril Asker, Ion Cutelaba and Nick Roehrick. Cannonier is also a former Alaska Fighting Championships Light Heavyweight Champion, defeating Tony Lopez at AFC 104 to win the gold.
UFC On Fox 26 takes place on Saturday, December 16 from the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada with Robbie Lawler and Rafael Dos Anjos headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox.
