This coming March will see One Championship make their debut in Japan as the promotion is presenting One Championship: A New Era. The event already has four title bouts and a lightweight world grand prix bout featuring former UFC Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez, but now it has even more added to it.
That’s because the four opening round bouts in the flyweight world grand prix will happen at the event, which will include the promotional debut of former UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson.
Chatri Sityodtong made the announcement via Twitter, which included the revealing of the grand prix brackets:

The four first round bouts in the flyweight grand prix will see Demetrious Johnson vs. Yuya Wakamatsu, Ivanildo Delfino vs. Tatsumitsu Wada, Kairat Akhmetov vs. Reece McLaren and Danny Kingad vs. Andrew Leone.
One Championship: A New Era takes place on Sunday, March 31 from the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan with Eduard Folayang and Shinya Aoki headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on Bleacher Report Live.
