Next months UFC 235 card has taken a hit because Ovince St. Preux has been forced to withdraw from a bout against Misha Cirkunov due to injury.

An announcement was made about the fighter’s withdraw on the UFC 234 preliminary card broadcast on ESPN, while OSP’s management team also posted the following on Twitter:

Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler Officially Announced For UFC 303, Will Take Place At Welterweight

UFC officials are seeking a replacement opponent to fight Cirkunov, as he is expected to remain on the card at this time.

Cirkunov (14-4-0) has won just one of his last three fights, with that lone victory coming over Patrick Cummins at UFC Fight Night Moncton. Cirkunov has competed a total of seven times in the UFC and none of those bouts went to the judges scorecards. Cirkunov has only seen two of his professional MMA bouts go the distance and the fighter won both of those encounters.

UFC 235 takes place on Saturday, March 2 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Jon Jones and Anthony Smith headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
