Ovince St. Preux vs. Ilir Latifi Re-Booked For UFC On Fox 28

Ilir Latifi recently pulled out of a UFC On Fox 27 co-main event bout against Ovince St. Preux due to an undisclosed injury.

However, it will not take long for the light heavyweights to meet up again because they have been re-booked for UFC On Fox 28 next month, with the Orlando Sentinel first making the announcement.

St. Preux (22-10-0) enters the fight on a three bout winning streak, defeating Marcos Rogerio De Lima, Yushin Okami and Corey Anderson. St. Preux has previously fought for the UFC Interim Light Heavyweight Title, losing to Jon Jones at UFC 197. St. Preux has been in the UFC for over four years now, earning a record of 10-5-0 during his time in the promotion.

Latifi (13-5-0-1NC) has won four of his last five in the UFC, with that last victory coming over Tyson Pedro at UFC 215. Latifi is also competing for the first time at a UFC On Fox card, despite having already competed at total of nine times in the UFC. Latifi has also suffered a total of three losses in the UFC and two of them came by way of KO/TKO.

UFC On Fox 28 takes place on Saturday, February 24 from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox.
