Paige VanZant Undergoes A Second Arm Surgery

Paige VanZant made her flyweight division debut at UFC Fight Night St. Louis, suffering both a unanimous decision loss to Jessica-Rose Clark and a broken arm.

The popular UFC star had already undergone one procedure to repair the damage, but the injured arm didn’t heal properly and a second procedure had to be done on it.

VanZant has since undergone a successful second surgery on the arm and is now back on the road to a return to the Octagon.

It was through Instagram that VanZant documented the surgery, from pre-op to recovery:

Rest and relaxation the best that I can. I’m in a lot of pain and maybe slept 2 hours last night, but I am so happy to have the healing process started again. This one is going to work. I will fight again soon

There is no word yet on when VanZant will make her return to the UFC, but more should become known as the surgically repaired arm heals for a second time.
