A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to next month’s UFC 209 card as Paul Craig will be seeing action against Tyson Pedro.
Craig (10-0-0) has already earned one victory under the UFC banner, having already defeated Luis Henrique Da Silva at UFC On Fox 22. Craig has already held three championships in his career, as he is a former BAMMA, Fight Star Championships and Total Combat Light Heavyweight Champion. Craig also held two championships as an amateur, holding the Total Combat and First Fight Championships Light Heavyweight Titles before turning pro.
Pedro (6-0-0) has also earned a single victory in the UFC at this point in his career, it came over Khalil Rountree at UFC Fight Night: Whittaker vs. Brunson. Pedro has only seen one of his six professional MMA fights go past the opening round, that fight came against Deon Rangi in November of 2012. Pedro also competed twice in the Australian Fighting Championships promotion, defeating the duo of Dan Endermann and Steven Warby.
UFC 209 takes place on Saturday, February 11 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York with Holly Holm and Germanine De Randamie headlining, the main card will air on pay-per-view.
