Paul Daley Pulled From Bellator 163

Despite the fact that Paul Daley was granted permission to weigh in after all the fighters at yesterday’s Bellator 163 Weigh-Ins, the fighter has still been pulled from the card.

MMA Fighting is reporting that Daley has been pulled from the card due to complications with a tough weigh cut. He was set for a fight against Derek Anderson on the main card of the event.

Anderson has also been pulled from the card because there is not enough time for Bellator officials to find a new opponent for him to fight.

Currently, the Bellator 163 main card only has three scheduled fights on it, two fights are expected to be promoted from the preliminary card to the main card, one of which is Nieman Gracie vs. Rudy Bears.

Anderson will be paid his “show money” for making weight for the canceled fight. It is unknown if the bout will be rescheduled or scrapped altogether.

Bellator 163 takes place on Friday, November 4th from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Liam McGeary and Phil Davis headlining.
