Paul Daley may still be contracted to fight for Bellator MMA, but his days as an analyst within the promotion have come to an end.
The fighter had been an analyst for the Bellator MMA Europe Series, but Daley recently revealed that he has been fired for going “off script.”
Daley issued the following through Instagram:
One of Daley’s more controversial statements regarded Michael Page’s appearance at Bellator London against Giovanni Mellilo, as Daley called the matchmaking “ridiculous” among other things.
There has been no word yet from Bellator MMA about Daley’s status as an analyst or who will replace him as an analyst.
Bellator MMA’s European Series continues next month with Bellator Dublin, which is headlined by James Gallagher and Cal Ellenor.
