Bellator 206 brought home the bacon, but not in the way some fans wanted.
Bellator's Saturday night effort was one of their most important yet, with the likes of Gegard Mousasi, Rory MacDonald, Rampage Jackson and Wanderlei Silva on the show. Yet, on UK's Channel 5, the main event was forgone for an episode of children's program, Peppa Pig.
The channel, owned by Viacom (Bellator's owners), doesn't usually broadcast Bellator events. Officials would explain later that Bellator's violent content was not suitable for viewing past the 6 am morning hour, and gave way to the Peppa program.
?Government regulations said at 6 a.m., that content was not suitable,? said Bellator Senior VP of Marketing and Communications David Schwartz after the show, via MMA Junkie. ?They had to switch to children?s programming. Peppa the pig.?

The card itself was streamed on DAZN in the United States, and featured several extended spots of talking heads killing time for reasons that weren't explained on an already bloated six-fight card, with two scheduled five round fights.
