The ever growing rivalry between UFC bantamweight champion Petr Yan and Aljamain Sterling is growing more intense with each passing day.
Recently, both fighters got into an exchange on Twitter, which began after Sterling called Yan a ?chicken? in a tweet to UFC President Dana White:
Hey @danawhite, I?m waiting for your chicken in December. Give me your chicken or coming for dat! #PAUSE! @PetrYanUFC #PaprChamp
That led to Yan calling Sterling a ?dickhead,? while also saying he?ll make Sterling be held accountable for every word he said:
I?m waiting for you dickhead. You will be held accountable for every word you said
Everything ended, for now, when Sterling promised that he would take the bantamweight title from Yan:
Aww don?t worry. I?ll take that belt from you so that you don?t have a target on your back. It?ll be ok.
White did say that Sterling is next for Yan, but the bout hasn?t been made official at this time.
