PFL Announces 8 More Participants For Season 2

We are just over a month away from the second season of the Professional Fighters League and the promotion revealed eight new roster members today that will vie for the $1 million cash prize.

Those new additions to the PFL roster include UFC veteran Jeremy Kennedy, UFC veteran Damon Jackson and UFC veteran Ronys Torres all at lightweight, plus Chris Curtis enters the field at welterweight, while Jorge Gonzalez and Rashid Yusupov join at light heavyweight, plus season one alumni Francimar Barroso and Satoshi Ishii enter at heavyweight.

Rose Namajunas eyes flyweight glory

PFL President Ray Sefo says that the promotion has assembled the best talent from all over the world.

“We have assembled the best available talent from around the world in what proved to be a challenging, highly competitive selection process,” Sefo stated (via MMA Junkie). “More than half of our 2019 roster will be making their PFL debut in 2019. … Every fight matters in our season format, so fans can expect to see action packed fights across six divisions.”

The second season for the PFL kicks off on Thursday, May 8 with the female lightweights and the welterweights in action, but no fights have been announced by the promotion at this time.
