Randy Couture and his girlfriend, Mindy Robinson, went on an ATV ride this past Monday, but it didn?t end well as both were involved in an ATV accident.
While details of the accident weren?t revealed at this time, a statement from Couture?s manager to MMA Junkie revealed that the retired fighter needed orthopedic surgery yesterday:
?Randy Couture and his girlfriend Mindy (Robinson) were involved in a Quad (ATV) accident late last night on his ranch just outside of Flagstaff, Arizona. As a result of the accident, later today (Tuesday), Randy will be having some orthopedic surgery. He (and Mindy) are expected to make a full recovery.?
Robinson also issued a statement of her own on Twitter:
The accident comes nearly one year after Couture suffered a heart attack, which happened in October of 2019.
