Report: 5 Fights Added To Bellator 239, Javy Ayala In Action

Five more bouts have reportedly been added to Bellator 239 as Javy Ayala faces Valentin Moldavsky, Lucas Brennan faces Jamese Taylor, Adil Benjilany faces Kevin Croom, Christopher Gonzalez faces Aaron McKenzie and Christian Edwards faces DiMarcco Hutchinson.

Sherdog first reported the bouts, with Ayala/Moldavsky being a part of the main card and the other fights being a part of the preliminary card.

Ayala (11-7-0) has won just one of his last three under the Bellator MMA banner, with that lone win coming over Frank Mir at Bellator 212. Moldavsky (8-1-0) is undefeated thus far in Bellator MMA competition, having defeated Carl Seumanutafa, Ernest James and Linton Vassell.

Brennan (2-0-0) has spent his entire professional MMA career competing in Bellator MMA, defeating the duo of Thomas Lopez and Jacob Landin. Taylor (0-1-0) is winless thus far as a professional MMA fighter, dropping a bout to Gabriel Varga at Bellator 224.

Benjilany (5-2-0-1NC) has won two of three thus far in Bellator MMA, with those wins coming over Corey Jackson and Daniel Carey. Croom (18-12-0) has won just one of his last four bouts and the fighter hasn’t picked up a win in over a year.

Gonzalez (3-0-0) has already picked up two wins in Bellator MMA, defeating the duo of Charlie Radtke and Luis Vargas. McKenzie (7-1-0) is undefeated thus far when competing in Bellator MMA, defeating Sean Clements by second round submission at Bellator 233.

Edwards (2-0-0) has picked up two wins as a professional MMA fighter and both of them came by way of KO/TKO. Hutchinson (3-2-0) enters the fight riding a two bout losing streak and he hasn’t picked up a win in almost three years.

Bellator 239 takes place on Friday, February 21 from the Winstar World Resort & Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma with Ed Ruth and Yaroslav Amosov headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
