Report: 6 Bouts Added To Bellator 216, Valerie Loureda To Debut

Six more bouts have been added to the upcoming Bellator 216 card according to MMA Junkie as Valerie Loureda faces Colby Fletcher, Alexandra Ballou faces Sarah Payant, Pat Casey faces Nekruz Mirkhojaev, Kemran Lachinov faces Kastriot Xhema, Demetrios Plaza faces Andrews Rodriguez and Jesse Kosakowski faces Rodolfo Neves Rocha.

Loureda (0-0-0) is going to be making both her professional MMA debut and Bellator MMA debut in this encounter. Fletcher (1-2-0) is also making her Bellator debut in this bout and the fighter hasn’t picked up a win in over four years.

Ballou (1-0-0) made her professional MMA debut at Bellator 207, defeating Lisa Blaine by third round TKO. Payant (1-4-0) enters the contest on a four fight losing streak and she hasn’t picked up a win in almost four years.

Casey (3-0-0) made his promotional debut at Bellator 207 last yeay, defeating Kastriot Xhema by unanimous decision. Mirkhojaev (3-2-0) is making his Bellator MMA debut in this contest and is also returning to action for the first time in over a year.

Lachinov (7-2-0) has already picked up three wins under the Bellator MMA banner, defeating the trio of Sam Watford, Ilya Kotau and Sean Lally. Xhema (2-2-0-1NC) has won two of four fights thus far in Bellator MMA, defeating the duo of Nick Alley and Peter Nascimento.

Plaza (0-0-0) is going to be making both his professional MMA debut and Bellator MMA debut in this encounter. Rodriguez (1-0-0) made his professional MMA debut last year at Bellator 208, defeating Michael DiOrio by unanimous decision.

Kosakowski (0-0-0) is making his professional MMA debut in this bout, but did go undefeated as an amateur MMA fighter. Rocha (0-0-0)  is going to be making both his professional MMA debut and Bellator MMA debut in this encounter.

Bellator 216 takes place on Saturday, February 16 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Paul Daley and Michael Page headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
