A catchweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 238 as AJ Agazarm is going to be in action against Adel Altamimi.
MMA Junkie first reported the bout, which is expected to be a part of the preliminary card.
Agazarm (2-1-0) comes into the contest while riding a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Jacob Landin and Jonathan Quiroz. Agazarm has spent his entire professional MMA career, which began in January of this year, competing in Bellator MMA. Agazarm only has three fights worth of professional MMA fighter, but he is also a highly decorated grappler as well.
Altamimi (8-6-0) has won just one of two under the Bellator MMA banner, with that lone win coming over Brandon McMahan at Bellator 214. Altamimi has competed a total of fourteen times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those bouts went the distance. Altamimi has picked up eight wins as a professional MMA fighter and seven of them came by way of submission.
Bellator 238 takes place on Saturday, January 25 from The Forum in Inglewood, California with Julia Budd and Cyborg headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on DAZN.
