MMA Fighting first reported the news of McKee signing a new deal with the promotion, but the exact number of fights and financial numbers weren’t revealed in said report.

There has been no comment from either McKee or Bellator MMA about the report of the fighter's new deal with the promotion.

McKee (13-0-0) has spent his entire professional MMA career competing in Bellator MMA, which began at Bellator 136 in April of 2015. McKee, during his near four years in the promotion, has picked up some notable victories over Blair Tugman, Brian Moore, Justin Lawrence, John Teixeira and Daniel Crawford. McKee has competed thirteen times as a professional MMA fighter and only four of those encounters went the distance.

Bellator 221 takes place on Saturday, May 11 from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois with Michael Chandler and Patricio Pitbull headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
