Alejandra Lara was last seen in action at Bellator 235, defeating Veta Arteaga by way of unanimous decision

That bout will not be the last time fans see Lara in the Bellator cage, as MMA Junkie reports the fighter has signed a new six fight deal with the promotion. While the length of the contract has been revealed, no financial numbers associated with the contract were revealed at this time.

Lara (9-3-0, 3-2-0 Bellator MMA) is currently in the midst of a two fight winning streak, having defeated the aforementioned Arteaga and Taylor Turner. Lara has previously challenged for the Bellator MMA Women’s Flyweight Title, losing to current champion Ilima-Lei Macfarlane by third round submission at Bellator 201. Lara has picked up a total of nine wins as a professional MMA fighter and seven of them have come by either KO/TKO or submission. Lara hasn’t suffered a defeat in over a year, with that last loss coming to Juliana Velasquez by split decision at Bellator 212 in December of 2018

There is no word yet on when Lara is going to be returning to action or whom that next bout is going to be coming up against.
