Report: Alexander Shlemenko vs. Anatoly Tokov Added To Bellator 208

A middleweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 208 according to Flo Combat as Alexander Shlemenko is in action against Anatoly Tokov.

Shlemenko (56-11-0-1NC) wnters the contest while in the midst of a two fight losing streak, having dropped bouts to the duo of Bruno Silva and Gegard Mousasi. Shlemenko is a former Bellator MMA Middleweight Champion, defeating UFC veteran Maiquel Falcao by third round knockout to win the gold at Bellator 88. Shlemenko hasn’t picked up a victory in over a year, with that last win coming over Brandon Halsey at M-1 Challenge 79 in June of 2017.

Tokov (26-2-0) is currently undefeated in Bellator MMA competition, having defeated the duo of Francisco France and Vladimir Filipovic. Tokov is a former Absolute Championship Berkut Middleweight Champion, defeating Arbi Ahujev to win the gold at ACB 38. Tokov has suffered two defeats as a professional MMA fighter, with one of them coming to UFC veteran Ramazan Emeev at M-1 Challenge 73.

Bellator 208 takes place on Saturday, October 13 from the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York with Fedor Emelianenko and Chael Sonnen headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
