A flyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Busan according to Combate as #4 Alexandre Pantoja is going to be in action against #10 Matt Schnell.
Pantoja (21-4-0) has won three of his last four under the UFC banner, with those wins coming against Brandon Moreno, Yuta Sasaki and Wilson Reis. Pantoja has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter and three of them came to current UFC fighters. Pantoja is undefeated when competing on Fight Night cards, having won three of three in previous events.
Schnell (14-4-0) enters the contest while in the midst of a four fight winning streak, last defeating Jordan Espinosa via first round submission at UFC Fight Night Newark. Schnell hasn’t suffered a defeat in over two years, with that last loss coming against Hector Sandoval at UFC Fight Night 108. Schnell has picked up fourteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and more than half of them came by way of submission.
UFC Fight Night Busan takes place on Saturday, December 21 from the Sakij Arena in Busan, South Korea with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
