A bantamweight division attraction may be coming to UFC Fight Night San Diego as #2 Aljamain Sterling is in action against #4 Cory Sandhagen.
Aaron Bronsteter of TSN first reported the bout, who?s spot on the card isn?t known at this time.
Sterling (18-3-0) enters the contest riding a four fight winning streak, picking up victories over Brett Johns, Cody Stamann, Jimmie Rivera and Pedro Munhoz. Sterling hasn?t suffered a defeat in over two years, with that last loss coming to Marlon Moraes at UFC Fight Night Fresno. Sterling has picked up eighteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of them came by way of decision.
Sandhagen (12-1-0) is undefeated thus far in UFC competition, picking up notable wins over John Lineker and Raphael Assuncao. Sandhagen has picked up a total of five wins in the UFC and three of those victories came by a combination of KO/TKO or submission. Sandhagen has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Jamall Emmers at LFA 5 in February of 2017.
