A women’s strawweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Mexico City according to Combate as Angela Hill is going to be in action against Istela Nunes.
Hill (9-7-0) has won just three of eight during her second run in the UFC, with those wins coming over the trio of Ashley Yoder, Maryna Moroz and Jodie Esquibel. Hill is going to be competing for the fourth time in 2019, making her the most active female fighter in the UFC this year. Hill has competed sixteen times as a professional MMA fighter and eleven of those bouts went the distance.
Nunes (6-1-0-1NC) is going to be making her UFC debut in this bout and does so having won four of the last five fights the fighter competed in. Nunes did win two of three during a run in One Championship, with those wins coming against Mei Yamaguchi and Gina Iniong. Nunes has picked up six wins as a professional MMA fighter and four of those victories came by way of submission.
UFC Fight Night Mexico City takes place on Saturday, September 21 from the Arena Ciudad De Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
