UFC fighter Rachael Ostovich was allegedly attacked by her husband Arnold Berdon last month, an attack that causes Ostovich to suffer a broken orbital bone.

A hearing took place on December 3 between both parties lawyers according to Suzanne Davis and Berdon received some sanctions against him. Those sanctions, according to Davis, are an order of protection for Ostovich against Berdon until December 3 of 2038, Berdon is not to contact Ostovich or their daughter, plus Berdon must take domestic violence and anger management classes.

Davis also reports that a preliminary hearing is scheduled for tomorrow, it is unknown if Berdon or Ostovich or both are going to be in attendance at said hearing. The order of protection was also issued because if Berdon violates the order, it would allow the authorities to arrest him without first getting approval to make the arrest from a higher up.

Ostovich, despite the attack, is back in action next month at UFC Fight Night Brooklyn, facing Paige VanZant in a women’s flyweight division encounter. The bout had been called off once news broke of the attack against Ostovich, but UFC President Dana White re-booked the encounter after a phone call with Ostovich, who pleaded for the bout to stay on the event.
