It was reported a few days back that Donny Aaron, who is the husband of UFC fighter Andrea Lee, has been in hiding ever since allegedly assaulting his wife in early August.

MMA Fighting is now reporting that an arrest warrant for Aaron is expected to be coming shortly, according to a statement from Shreveport (Louisiana) Police Department Spokesperson Cpl. Angie Willhite.

The police report from the alleged assault says that Lee suffered minor injuries, while photographs were also taken by police from the alleged crime scene.

Andy Nguyen, an MMA fighter who called the police to report the incident, recently posted the following on twitter about the reason she decided to make the call:

Aaron does have quite the extensive past according to MMA Fighting, as he was found guilty in 2009 of negligent homicide with a firearm after shooting a man, Ronald Jamison, multiple times and killing him after an altercation near Aaron’s home. While he was awaiting trial for that crime in 2007, Aaron was arrested and jailed on a battery charge after allegedly attacking his ex-wife’s fiancé. In February, Aaron was arrested for possession of marijuana in a wider sting operation by the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit.

Lee has not commented on the matter as of yet. It should also be known that Aaron is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

A few days after this story was posted, an arrest warrant would be issued for Aaron, with the following statement being given to MMA Fighting by the Shreveport Police Department:

Shreveport Police have procured a warrant for a man in connection with an early May domestic incident.

On May 5, 2018, Shreveport Police received reports of a domestic abuse battery that occurred in the 4200 block of Wildwood Drive. Arriving officers learned that 43-year-old Donald Aaron, of the 4200 block of Wildwood Drive, allegedly battered the victim causing minor injury. Officers interviewed witnesses and the victim and collected physical evidence.

Investigators with Shreveport Police Department’s Domestic Violence Unit were assigned to the case and following additional interviews, procured warrants for Aaron charging him with one count of Domestic Abuse Battery and one count of False Imprisonment. His bond totals $2,500.00. Investigators believe that Aaron may be in Georgia.

Police are asking anyone with information on Aaron’s exact whereabouts to contact investigators at 318-673-6955. Those wishing to submit information anonymously can contact Shreveport Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373, Lockemup.org, or via their app P3 Tips.
