Report: Austin Hubbard vs. Joe Solecki Added To UFC Fight Night: Munhoz vs. Edgar

A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night: Munhoz vs. Edgar as Austin Hubbard faces Joe Solecki.

Hubbard (12-4-0) has rotated wins and losses throughout his UFC tenure, with the last bout being a second-round TKO win over Max Rohskopf at UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs. Volkov. Hubbard has already held three titles as a professional MMA fighter. He is a former Caged Aggression, Sparta Combat League and Legacy Fighting Alliance lightweight champion. Hubbard has competed a total of 16 times as a pro. Half of those encounters went to the judges scorecards.

Solecki (9-2-0) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner having defeated Matt Wiman by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night Washington DC. Solecki also competed on Dana White?s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 3, defeating James Wallace by first-round submission. Solecki stretched out the amateur scene, compiling a perfect amateur record with all submission wins.

UFC Fight Night: Munhoz vs. Edgar takes place on Saturday, August 22 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Frankie Edgar will make his bantamweight debut in the main event against Pedro Munhoz. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event. Broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
