A lightweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 207 according to Ariel Helwani of ESPN as Baby Slice is in action against Corey Browning.
Slice (3-1-0) is going to be making his lightweight division debut in this bout, with his previous bouts coming at catchweight. Slice will enter the contest on the strength of a three fight winning streak, with two of those victories coming by way of submission. Slice has spent his entire professional MMA career in Bellator MMA, while the fighters lone amateur bout came in the Warrion Nation XFA promotion.
Browning (2-1-0) is making his Bellator MMA debut in this fight and the competitor is returning to action after a two-plus year layoff. Browning has seen all three of his professional MMA bouts end via submission and none of them have made it past the second round. Browning his spent his entire professional MMA career in the Valor Fights promotion and the competitor hasn’t won a bout in almost three years.
Bellator 207 takes place on Friday, October 12 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Ryan Bader and Matt Mitrione headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
