There was some competition opposing the Bellator 234 broadcast in the form of WWE Smackdown on Fox, a pair of NBA Basketball games that brought in over a million viewers each and an NCAA Football game on ESPN 2.

Up next for Bellator MMA is Bellator London, which is headlined by Michael Page and Giovanni Melillo, but that entire card streams live on the Bellator App. There is no UFC event this weekend as well, as the promotion returns on December 7 with UFC Fight Night Washington DC.
