Report: Bellator 239 & Bellator 240 Bring In Over 500,000 Viewers Combined

There were a total of three big MMA events this past weekend in the form of UFC Fight Night Auckland, Bellator 239 and Bellator 240. However, unlike UFC Fight Night Auckland, both Bellator 239 and Bellator 240 were broadcasted on TV via the Paramount Network, as UFC Auckland streamed live on ESPN+.

MMA Fighting is reporting that Bellator 239 brought in 296,000 viewers and Bellator 240 brought in a total of 310,000 viewers. Bellator 240 won the weekend for the promotion, despite the fact that it aired via tape delay when compared to the live broadcast for Bellator 239.

Unranked UFC Fighters to Watch out for in 2024

The main card for Bellator 239 saw Yaroslav Amosov defeat Ed Ruth, Myles Jury defeat Brandon Girtz, Timothy Johnson defeat Tyrell Fortune and Valentin Moldavsky defeat Javy Ayala. While the Bellator 240 main card saw Brent Primus defeat Chris Bungard, Kiefer Crosbie defeat Iamik Furtado, Bec Rawlings defeat Elina Kallionidou, Ricky Bandejas defeat Frans Mlambo and Oliver Enkamp defeat Lewis Long.

Bellator 240 went up against far stiffer competition when compared to Bellator 240, as the tape delayed card went up against the Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury II pay-per-view.

Up next for Bellator MMA is Bellator 241, which streams live on DAZN and will be headlined by a featherweight title fight as Patricio Pitbull defends against Pedro Carvalho.
