Report: Bellator Heading To France On October 10

MMA

History is going to be made this October as Bellator will become the first major MMA promotion to run an event in the country of France.

The country legalized MMA earlier this year. A report from Ariel Helwani of ESPN is stating that the promotion will run an event there on October 10. There is already a Bellator card set for October 10 in Milan, Italy, but no fights have been announced for the card at this time.

If the promotion does indeed debut in France on October 10, it will be the final of four events taking place in Europe in a two-plus week span. The tour begins with a rumored Bellator card on September 24 and ends with the October 10 card in France.

No fighters or fights have been announced for the event, while the broadcast will likely air on Bellator's new home at CBS Sports Network.
