This weekends UFC Fight Night Sacramento card has taken a hit because Beneil Dariush has suffered an injury and has been pulled from a bout against Drakkar Klose.

MMA Junkie first reported the news, but nothing has been revealed yet as to the nature of Dariush’s injury or how long the fighter is expected to be out of action for. Klose is expected to remain on the card at this time, as UFC officials are seeking a replacement opponent for him to fight.

Klose (10-1-1) will also come into the bout riding a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Lando Vannata and Bobby Green. Klose has seen his last seven bouts go the distance and it has been almost four years since the fighter got a finish. Klose has suffered just a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter, with that loss coming against David Teymur via unanimous decision at UFC 218 in December of 2017.

UFC Fight Night Sacramento takes place on Saturday, July 13 from the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California with Germaine De Randamie and Aspen Ladd headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
