Report: Brave CF Not Paying Fighters After Postponing Events

MMA

Brave CF joined many other MMA promotions by altering their plans due to the coronavirus, with the organization postponing three events as the world deals with the pandemic.

However, unlike Bellator MMA, which paid all of their fighters after postponing Bellator 241, fighters who would’ve competed on the three postponed Brave CF events won’t be getting any form of pay.

MMA Fighting reports that the promotion won’t be paying the fighters because “the event hasn’t been canceled, it was postponed.”

The promotion has yet to reveal when the three postponed events will happen, as they were originally set to take place on Sweden, Brazil and Romania.

“We intend to get back to event planning as soon as the situation is stabilized and we have clearance from governments and health organizations,” a statement sent to MMA Fighting read. “We will get back to the organization of the events.”

Many who were involved in those three Brave CF events could be sharing similar issues with those who were set to compete at the postponed UFC Fight Night London card, as those fighters have yet to be paid by the UFC either.
