A featherweight division attraction has been added to PFL Season 2, Week 7 according to ESPN as Brendan Loughnane is going to be in action against Matt Wagy.
Loughnane (17-3-0) is going to be making his PFL debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a three fight winning streak. Loughnane competed on Dana White?s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 1, defeating Bill Algeo by unanimous decision. Loughnane had also fought once before in the UFC, which was a unanimous decision loss to Mike Wilkinson at UFC On FX 6.
Wagy (12-5-0) is also going to be making his PFL debut in this encounter and does so on a two fight winning streak. Wagy has previously challenged for the International Fighting Championship Featherweight Title, losing to then champion Tony Boyles at IFC 8. Wagy has picked up twelve wins as a professional MMA fighter and seven of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
PFL Season 2, Week 7 takes place on Friday, October 11 from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN 2.
