Report: Chris Bungard Replaces Peter Queally At Bellator Dublin

Peter Queally has suffered an injury and has been pulled from Bellator Dublin, replacing him against Brent Primus is Chris Bungard

MMA Fighting reported the news and the bout is still expected to be a part of the main card.

Primus (9-1-0) is going to be competing for the second time this year, with his last bout being a first round submission win over Tim Wilde at Bellator Europe 2. Primus is a former Bellator MMA Lightweight Champion, defeating Michael Chandler at Bellator 180 to claim the gold. Primus has picked up nine wins as a professional MMA fighter and five of them came by way of submission.

Bungard (15-5-0) has won two of three under the Bellator MMA banner, with those wins coming over Terry Brazier and Benjamin Brander. Bungard has competed three times in Bellator MMA and all of those bouts came in the country of Europe. Bungard has picked up fifteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and eight of them came by way of submission. 

Bellator Dublin takes place on Saturday, February 22 from the 3 Arena in Dublin, Ireland with James Gallagher and Cal Ellenor headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on the Bellator App.
